Hello all.
This is my first blog for the JERRY KRAMER for the Pro Football Hall of Fame petition. I started this petition in March of 2005 without really knowing much about what could be done. Signatures were slow to come.
I can happily report today that this is starting to change. There is more and more talk about Jerry and the Hall of Fame in recent days. There has also been an increase in the number and frequency of signatures here on the petition. Let's keep this rolling.
With the recent advent of social networking sites like Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter, we have an incredible opportunity to spread the word and try to get not only signatures, but knowledgeable assistance and direction.
Voters on the Hall of Fame panel may never run across this petition, but I'd be willing to bet that they, or someone who knows who they are, will run across a tweet or a facebook page that directs them here. That's exciting!
We now have the opportunity to not only gain signatures at an incredible rate, but also find out how to get those signatures in front of the voters themselves.
Let's raise a wave of support and inundate the voters with our signatures. For too long, this has been on the panel's back burner and quietly set aside. It's time to raise our voices and make known that we think this continuing dismissal is an oversight that needs correction.
So, I ask you. Post. Tweet. Use MySpace. Use Facebook. Use Twitter. Encourage them to get involved. Point them to this petition. Ask them to spread the word. Let's get this done!
