| 251 | arshad | i feel that the yatris who come to visit for two months should have some facilities. Imagine our muslims brothers going to HAJ and having high class facilities there which we always crave to be better year after other. we have to find a way which would benefit local people. may be government should support local people to acquire the land then then put up facilities at these places so that they can earn from it if it is economically viable +- subisidising the costs to help them as it would be busy for two months only. |

| 253 | samir merchant | I believe that this is a means of changing the demographics of the state. We must respect the constitution of our country (article 370) which states that nobody from outside the state can ever be a resident of state of j&k. This should be a punch to the religious fundamentalist groups. |

| 255 | ershad hussain | it is totally brutality, they want to grab our land by decieving us. they want to make this another israiel |
| 256 | MUZAFFAR | I think we should also talk about J&K State Subjects that have been issued to non-residents since 1990. All the state subjects issued from 1990 should be cancelled and should be re-issued after proper verifications.
This is yet another silent dangerous design. |
| 257 | SHAFAT SULTAN | It is time to fight the ruling establishment politically. Militarily the Kashmir issue stands highlighted. Now that the people have demonstrated their resistance to fight any attempts aimed at altering the demography of J&K, the Hurriyats (M&G) better take on the mainstream parties at the hustings and beat them fair and square. The people are with them at this point in time and the slogan could be,"LET US FIGHT AGAINST THE OCCUPATION OF KASHMIR" |
| 258 | fiza | being a kashmiri its our duty to get our land back form those who try to grasp it by different methods.we stand united in this mission and wont stop unless we have every pieceof it,however small, back at any cost |

| 261 | Anonymous | amarnath pilgrims do not require that land and the land should not be transfered. a one month yatra does not require permanent structures. infact all haz buildings all over india should be demolished as haz is only for a month and they can stay in tents. we can even think of canceling amarnath yatra. hindus have soo many holi places why donate money for terrorism |

| 275 | Aamir Moghal | A resounding no to the attempts to grab Kashmiri land and to the veiled attempts to colonize Kashmir. Fellow Kashmiris we may seem to have achieved a victory on this issue today, but rest assured unless Kashmiris attain full and unconditional freedom, there will be many more attempts to colonize Kashmir in future. It is inevitable that the forces that have been working on assimilating Kashmir by force for more than 60 years will keep clawing at Kashmir until they are successful in their goal of complete colonization. Kashmiris cannot and should not ever allow this to happen. In my opnion, Kashmir should whole-heartedly participate in a European Union style south asian economic federation, but such a federation should be based mutually respect not hegemony. Kashmir's inclusion in such a union (economic only union) should be determined by none other than the people of Kashmir.
For as long as it has existed Kashmiris have never had a problem with the Amarnath Yatra and we should never change that. But when you think about it why don't we tax the yatris to pay for the transportation, accommodation, boarding, miscellaneous services (medical, power, etc), environment clean up costs incurred by Kashmir to support the Yatra. Why don't we control the number of yatris who come every year. For at least 60 years, who has payed for all the services provided during the Amarnath yatra? That is right, the poor old average Kashmiri has. What a concept, make the poor Kashmiri subsidize a religious pilgrimage when most places in the rest of the world such a pilgrimage would be used as a sources of income and revenue for the local coffers. Even in the exceptional case of Haj, does Saudi Arabia (one of the richest countries in the world) pay for the Haji's accomodation, transportation and miscellaneous services? Do they allow anyone to willy nilly show up for the Haj as they please? Why should Kashmir? This all needs to change for the betterment of the Kashmiris and the Yatris. I think our pandit brethren should be involved to take an active role in coming up the ways and means of improving the Amarnath yatra for our Indian guests. We need to make the yatra a much better experience for our guests but not at the cost of Kashmir. |

| 279 | basharat alam shah | job's done, this time. we got justice and got back our land..however, we paid the price- few more martyrs just got added to the list. and while we celebrate the victory lets just make sure that those who sacrificed their lives for us, for justice not be just no more than some unsung heroes. |
| 280 | Nimra Sadiq | I am student of colonialism and post colonialism and what kashmir is undergoing is stealthy annhilation of life and property. Although the order has been revokd but there are uncharted ranges that Indian military and pseudo-institutions are still lording over. |

| 287 | Sehar Iftikhar | this controversy may have ended but whole kashmir has been grabbed by india.what about that? people have to coninue fighting. but peacefully |
| 288 | Mohan Ranade | As a hindu I would have misinterpreted the entire protest. Nut now I undrstand that kashmiri muslims are not agaisnt hindu piligrimage but agaisnt the land transfer from kashmiris to the hindu board which is againt their constitution and article 370.
muslim leaders have to tell this to people of india otherwise there is a chnace it will be misunderstood and their muslim brothers in india may face serious consequences. its my humble request. mohan ranade, maharastra. |
