Stop Land-grabbing in Kashmir

The petition

The Government of India has ordered Shri Amarath Shrine Board to aquire 1000 Kanals of prime land in one of the most beautiful valleys of Kashmir. Its a pressing query for the people of kashmir who are already mired in a voilent political conflict,as to why the Yatris (pilgrims)need permanent quarters for a journey which lasts just a month. Such a large land endowment which people fear is to instigate demographic changes within the kashmiri society which already is facing a genocide and till date more than 70,000 people, mostly Kashmiri Muslims have been killed.
People of Kashmir are protesting this land trasfer while fighting many other human rights abuses and till now 4 people have died with more than 200 injured. Protests continue in the valley amidst reports of voilent clashes. This petition is aimed to support kashmiri people in their quest for justice and independence.
