Cristine Rotenberg | Yay Terry!
John P. Bowser |
Chad Preseault | Klaatu should have a spot in the film, its only fitting and would make perfect sense.
Dan F | Klaatu was one of the most under appreciated band in the universe. But with this there is still HOPE
Steven J. Thomson | Keanu....Klaatu....both Kanadian eh! A snipet of music from Klaatu's first LP; "3:47 EST" will enhance this great SF story.

| 257 | Harry | Hello,
I'm Harry from Germany and I think, there can be no better music for the Film than the music from the Band KLAATU. Here the music and there will be no more question. |
| 258 | Harry | Hello,
I'm Harry from Germany and I think, there can be no better music for the Film than the music from the Band KLAATU. Here the music and there will be no more question. |
David Rowell | "Around the Universe in 80 days" would be great in the end credits
Anonymous | This movie was made for this song--or vie-versa.
Peter Young | The music will inspire and thrill movie goers.
Joe Garite II | let the viewers of the show have some say in a movie for them :)
Mats Knutsson |
David Brennan | Can't Hurt the film. May draw Beatle fans also.
Pete Patterson | Klaatu the band paid tribute to this seminal cinematic work with their music, and this since remake is is also a tribute, it would be quite fitting to incorporate their tribute within it.
Gary Marshall | Have been a Major Klaatu fan since the 70's and If you aren't going to make "The Rise and Fall of the Politzanian Empire" into a stand alone Feature at least let us have this. and any sound editor can tell you Klaatu is the best engineered Music in the last 30 years just listen too it.
Jeffrey V Fleming |
Bill Partridge |
Olav Reinisch |
Michael E. Cuneo | Best wishes to Klaatu and all of those involved with the film...i "hope" the movie will be handled with care for it is very depressing to have a good film twisted by today's standards. The thought of Klaatu, the band , having a part in the film brings a warming ray of sunlight to my heart. Sincerely, Michael E. J. Cuneo
Aaron Badgley | They deserve to be heard in this movie!

paul Stockton |
Chester Jankowski |

Horst Pachtner | Since i heard Klaatu's 1st song in a German radio station i was fascinated. What a combination THIS film and THIS music.
Delfino Falciani | Klaatu's music would be a prefect fit for a classic si-fi movie such as this
Michael Berry | Only one FABulous band on Earth could produce such music , so rich and diverse, profound and yet so memorable lyrics. The three suggested songs said it all "but how many had ears, all those years ago" KLAATU music must be in the movie soundtrack, ya ya ya.
Thomas Monson |
Erik Beals |
Heather Howe | Klaatu's music is so full of imagery and emotion. I can only imagine the impact of a song such as "Around the Universe in 80 days" would make if included in the movie.
Loren Griffith |
Geoff Howe | "Calling Occupants..." is a brilliant piece of music that I've loved for years, and it always plays in my head every time I watch the original "Day the Earth Stood Still". It would be so cool to hear this somewhere in the remake. Even on somebody's radio in the background somewhere. I realize that the song doesn't really fit in with today's music soundtracks, but surely sticking it in there somewhere would not be a crime? Do the right thing: make fans of both the original film and the band Klaatu happy...put the song in the movie!
Gert K | ... and one vote more for this fantastic band!
Aaron Long |
terry broadhurst |
Randy Law |
Mike Nemeth |
John Bartol | Klaatu was, and is, my favourite group. Their music would be a perfect complement to this film.
Martin Bonica | There are more Klaatu fans than you'd think, and as one of them I can say that I would be switched from "don't care" to "definitely seeing it" if one of my favorite bands showed up in there.
Tom Carden | do it!,
Mike Peterson | Please include some Klaatu music in the remake of "The Day the Earth Stood Still". Some of the classically inspired pieces from "Hope" would probably be best.
John Bailey | This song is such an integral part of the genre it must be included.
steven kerley |
Alex Mulder | Many people tought Klaatu were the beatles. The reason is that thier music was just as good. This is one of best bands ever that somehow never could get the commercial succes they derserved.
Ron Kinney | They should use as much of Klaatu's music as possible in this film, but they probably don't have enough sense to do so.
John M. Padgett | It would be a travesty to exclude Klaatu's music from the movie.
