Name: Bonnie Fletcher on Aug 6, 2008Comments: I am just furious that a small number of well funded citizens can railroad this city into doing what they want. It will be interesting to see what happens to the City of Kirkland in the years to come as long as this group has a stranglehold on the City Council. They all, Greenway, Hodgson, Asher and Lauinger need to be thrown out so the concerned citizens who want to see this city survive can help those who want to build it up. I wonder how many of the people who support Civik live in complexes that would be voted down if they had to build them today.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Aug 6, 2008Comments: I am very pleased to sigh this document. I only wish that Jim and Tom, and Ms. Greenway would understand the amount of dislike and dismay their actions have created. Tom is simply a man without honor, Jim, with two bankrupt filings continues to run the city as he has run his past personal life - and the city is now in debt millions - he must go. Jim - if you read this, please just go, you have done enough damage - this city will not heal as long as you are on the council.Flag

Name: I. Johnson on Aug 8, 2008Comments: Many sincere thanks to KirklandViews.com for getting this address to us, without it I would have felt as helpless as last Monday! Please step down quietly and with dignity Mayoe Lauinger, the citizens deserve it and Mayor McBride or even Mayor Sternoff would lead us out of the darkness. We have lean times ahead but if we revamp the council, end favoritism and tighten our belts, we'll be able to get Back to Black (with apologies to AC/DC)Flag

Name: Raelissa on Aug 13, 2008Comments: Although, I am not a citizen of Kirkland proper, I hope my comments will help to encourage others to to recall James Lauinger. I served on the Kirkland Chamber Exec. Committee with Jim and resigned because I would not support or want any part of Jim's unethical and questionable legal practices. What is happening now is no surprise. I also was not in favor of annexation because of Jim and the council's fiscal irresponsibility. Citizens of Unincorporated King County do not want to take on Kirkland's 7 million dollar debt.Flag

Name: Joyce Buchanan on Aug 13, 2008Comments: jim should be recalled. He was very deceptive and lied about me during my reelection in 2001. He is incapable of running Kirkland. The city is now 14 million dollars in debt and he is going to community meetings saying that utility and property taxes will be raised. He and Asher, Greenway, and Hodgeson are preventing downtown development and in my opinion all 4 need to be recalled.Flag

Name: Ken Buchanan on Aug 14, 2008Comments: A petition under Washington State and/or City of Kirkland code(s) should be filed with the required number of signers to get an official recall election scheduled to remove Lauinger, Hodgson, Greenway and Asher by the peoples' constitutional recall process. How is that to be doneFlag
