Kirk Bone is the Director of Government Relations for Parker Development Company. He is also president of the Serrano Home Owners Association board of directors.

Kirk Bone has consistently demonstrated that he cannot effectively represent the interests of the Serrano homeowners when he is paid to work against our interests by his boss. His position as a paid employee of the development company has put him squarely at odds with the expressed interests of the Association. His countless recusals on SOA/developer issues has created an atmosphere that is off-putting to the general membership. Kirk is not in a benign position on the Board – he is actively assuming public positions contrary to the will of the Association. Serving as president impairs his credibility and the Board’s credibility. He cannot serve two masters simultaneously when those masters are at diametrically opposite poles of issues critically important to the dues-paying members of the Association.

Kirk's latest disregard for Serrano homeowners came when he went to the media after the Measure E votes were counted. Despite El Dorado Hills residents voting 91% against rezoning the old golf course (a property Parker Development Company owns), he called Measure E "political theater" and added that “...the Board of Supervisors has the responsibility to do what is right for the county. We have confidence they will not let a tainted ballot measure unduly influence their decision.” That's right folks - Kirk is calling your vote on this very important topic "tainted" and referred to your desire as a Serrano homeowner to keep open space open as "political theater".

With this petition, the members of the Association are making their desires clearly known, and we are asking Mr. Bone to respect that desire and remove himself from the position as president of the Serrano HOA. For the good of the SOA, as well as the good of his employer, this is what the membership wants. We want an HOA led by resident-owners who are committed to protecting our common interests as owners. Kirk, please resign from the office of president, and show the owners you heard their voices and acted accordingly.
