Comments: How can the city consider raising taxes by four percent and at the same time turn down an opportunity to have a company provide employment for 175 people and spend multipule thousands towards the Kingston economy. i must be missing something.

Comments: This city council is going backwards. It is quite evident that this city is divided in at least 3 sections, and that councillors will only vote in favour of what is good for them personnally. Shame on you.

Comments: We regret the few councillors who have voted against this project. This is sending messages loud and clear to all prospective businesses wanting to relocate in our area, that we are not very accommadating. Hoppefully this petition will take hold. We wish you good luck in this endeavour and we will pass this website on to all we know.

Comments: I think the council needs to get off of cloud 9 and rethink there decision of the Lowes deal. If they expect residents to pay high taxes so they can fullfil there dreams for the city they are crazy.

Comments: I think city councilors should stop dreaming and wake up cause that piece of land is surrounded by commercial zones around it. So I think the city should wake up and give Lowes that land.

Comments: This city council really has their priorities messed up. Why would they turn down a business that wants to add decent paying jobs in our community. As taxpayers, we need the extra taxes coming in from large businesses. We cannot keep going on with 4 to 5 % increases every year.
