   Comments: How can the city consider raising taxes by four percent and at the same time turn down an opportunity to have a company provide employment for 175 people and spend multipule thousands towards the Kingston economy. i must be missing something.

This is sending messages loud and clear to all prospective businesses wanting to relocate in our area, that we are not very accommadating. Hoppefully this petition will take hold.     Comments: I think the council needs to get off of cloud 9 and rethink there decision of the Lowes deal. If they expect residents to pay high taxes so they can fullfil there dreams for the city they are crazy.

    Comments: This city council really has their priorities messed up. Why would they turn down a business that wants to add decent paying jobs in our community. As taxpayers, we need the extra taxes coming in from large businesses. We cannot keep going on with 4 to 5 % increases every year.
