Kingdom Hearts is a game series that started back in the year 2002, and since then it has grown drastically. With companies Disney and Square Enix slapped on the box, how could anyone resist grabbing this beautiful piece of art? But even after it's increase in popularity people still feel as though, that it is not recognized for anything other than the complexity of the story line, or the inclusion of Disney cast. Yes, Kingdom Hearts is a video game. But it is a video game with lessons about life.

Kingdom Hearts is an inspiration. So many kids could learn about themselves by seeing these characters struggle, but persevere. Not all kids can play the games, or watch it be played on the internet. Not all kids have money to go buy manga books. The only way to spread this inspiration to any kid who needs it, is to show it on all platforms of Media. This is why I think that Kingdom hearts should be on TV as an anime, or in theaters as a movie.

Here is a list of reasons why this would be beneficial:

-Knowing what kind of sales the games get, involved companies would likely get lots and lots of money. It could also lead to more game sales

-Kids around the world are struggling to see what’s right and wrong, they need something to spark their inspiration they they can find this out for themselves.

-The fight scenes would be absolutely amazing. Just the glimpses of fights seen in Chain of Memories get me pumped.

-If it were a movie produced by Sony and Square Enix, the animation would likely be flawless.

-The voice actors for both english and japanese versions don’t need to be decided, because you already have the game’s voice actors.

-If it were to be an anime cartoon produced by, let’s say. MADHOUSE or Toei, there would be absolutely no filler whatsoever and the plot could be discussed more in depth

-You already have the musical score from the games

What we could do to make this a possibility, and make sure it is great:

-We could support the franchise, by buying the games, buying the manga, and buying the merchandise

-We could motivate whoever would be in charge

-Whoever would be in charge could try to make it a story about the Kingdom Hearts characters, and dial down the disney/final fantasy aspect a bit

-We could make fan art to give artists different perspectives.

-We could watch the finished product

Kingdom Hearts not only deserves the recognition but begs for it. A movie like advent children, or an animated Tv show like was planned back in 2003 (More mature of course seeing how the story has progressed) are both things that would Kingdom Hearts, and Kingdom Hearts fans what they have been asking for. Sora is a strong-hearted individual, who never forgets what he's fighting for. Even after his world was destroyed, and after he loses his friends, he still smiles. He never ceases to keep going. He always does what’s right. He isn’t the brightest, but he has the best moral compass. He will put himself aside for others any day, but he treats himself well.

Even after he lost the keyblade and was left alone, he still climbs the darkest castles of hollow bastion, no worry for life or the stability of his friendship with Riku, he only worried about saving Kairi, and the other princesses.

Even when Namine’ manipulated him, he still did what was right, he did what would make everyone happy, despite what she did to him. He forgave her.

He put all dignity he had aside as he fell down to his knees, and did the last thing in his power at the time, to save Kairi. He begged Saix for a chance to get her to safety, when fighting wouldn’t work. He put every shattered piece of his soul on the floor and spread the table for Kairi’s safety.

He didn’t realize that he was being manipulated by young xehanort, because he’s not that bright. He almost lost his heart to darkness which would have in turn, lead to chaos. But he looked at the bright side. His thoughts were “At least everything turned out okay, let’s prepare for the future. We’ll do better next time!!”. He smiled in the darkest of times, for the best reasons.

He doesn’t put himself down, and curse himself for the way he is. He doesn’t put others safety aside so he can let out his emotions. He shows that all you have to have, is knowledge of what’s right and wrong, and a positive outlook, and you can make everyone happy. That is why Sora is an inspiration. That is why Kingdom Hearts is an inspiration. It has inspired me and can inspire many other people who need it
