This is an online petition for Amazon to produce the Kindle eBook Reader Application for Nokia phones. I have started this petition in the hope that a small percentage of Nokia users (and there are a lot 1.2 Billion!!!) out there will sign up to this. As soon as I have a good number I will contact Amazon again and try and convince them that this is the right thing to do. It is of course already available for other platforms namely iphone, Android and Blackberry but not so for Nokia the most popular handset in the world. It really seems like a no brainer!

Especially now that Nokia have stated that QT is their platform of choice moving forward which means applications written in QT will work across the different platforms in Nokia Phones. I started reading eBooks on my Nokia phone some years ago when I got an introductory offer for 2 Michael Connelly Novels (Harry Bosch Series) from Mobipocket (subsequently bought by Amazon in 2005). Within 2 months I had read the entire Harry Bosch series as well as others like James Rollins novels. It is I find very addictive reading eBooks on my Nokia smartfones. Come on Amazon develop an application for Nokia phones......I guarantee you won't be disappointed!!!!!!!
