Name: Mrs P Turgyan on Aug 8, 2007Comments: 67 Hambleton Avenue... We get a number of cars day and night that think they are on a RACE TRACK, they go well over the speed limit and i don't let my grandchildren play out the front when they visit.Flag

Name: Sheila Hobley on Aug 8, 2007Comments: 71 Hambleton Avenue I would like to see a lower speed limit of 20mph + speedhumps. Traffic goes down this road at 50mph regularly especially taxis + work vans. There are a lot of children who play on the road, i can't even let my children play near the front of the house because of speeding traffic.Flag

Name: T. Rowley on Aug 9, 2007Comments: 1. 20mph outside school - Yes 2. Speed Bumps - in general they are a nuisance and no real deterrent - No 3. Double yellow lines outside school limits and abolishing car parking on grass verges would be safer for children as there would be no visual obstructions.Flag

Name: Sharon Addison on Aug 9, 2007Comments: Speed bumps should have automatically been put in place when the new houses were built as it is a family estate so therefore a lot more children live in the area.Flag

Name: Jessica Goodwill on Aug 10, 2007Comments: Yes I agree especially now there are more houses, this means more traffic & more children. All roads with schools on should have reduced speed limits & speed bumps.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Aug 12, 2007Comments: I would like to see the speed limit reduced to 20mph and speed bumps to be installed near the school, however I think the amount and severity of the speed bumps should be kept to a minimum to avoid damage to cars and reduce noise levels. The speed bumps at the nearby roseberry square shops are horrendous even when driving slowly.Flag

Name: Julie Hall on Aug 13, 2007Comments: 79 Hambleton Avenue, I am sick of cars whizzing up and down the road. I do think the speed limit should be reduced to 20mph and speed bumps would be a great idea. Then our children would be able to play outside safe. I would sign the petition it is a very good idea. Thanks J. HallFlag
