    Comments: I got my two dogs from kill shelters. To think that my dogs would have been killed off had we not adopted them is something that I cannot accept. Kill shelters are wrong, and should not be allowed.

    Comments: It is sad to know that some humans have no heart and soul. It is sad to know that this goes on everyday. These animals should be put in a loving home but they are just being killed off because to these people it is easier to kill them than find a home. How can someone call themself a human and do this. All of this animal abuse has got to stop and we that care can out number the heartless people if we all just speak up to stop animal abuse.

    Comments: i think kill shelters are terrible. i have been looking into them on the net...I think the adoption price should be lowered or they should be able to adopt to out of state adopters with the correct reference, vet and hv checks...........

    Comments: i live in memphis tn and these shelters kill all pitbulls that are brought to them even with no problems!! we have to stop these shelters!!! they say that all pitbulls have behavior problems because that is supposly a pitbulls nature, but me and my husband know from expiernece and we raise pit bulls and everyone of them are loving and nothing but big babies!! in think instead of killing the pitbulls they should evaluate the owner and living conditions. i understand some pitbulls have been TRAINED to be viscouis but like i said they were TRAINED that way!!! come on people treat your animals better and they will treat u and others better as well!!! thanx......P.S. he or she is only a product of there environment

    Comments: It's time to stop this constant abuse, especially when there is more land and technology to make and grow food, to keep all these animals safe. There's also other uses for these animals, such as senior housing rehabilitation and canine education for pet owners and people in general.

    Comments: I agree that we need to get rid of kill shelters, a great idea would be to replace them with animal rescue shelters where the animal can stay until they find a home.
