Name: Annette Such on Sep 23, 2008Comments: This language is not something I would choose for my daughter to see. This should only be available, if the school feels strongly about it, behind the library desk with parental permission.Flag

Name: Sherry Jennings on Sep 24, 2008Comments: RRISD should at the very least notify parents at the beginning of every school year that there are books in their libraries that contain strong sexual content and vulgar language. Parents should be required to sign a form letting the school know if their child is allowed access to these books or not. These books should be labeled and/or kept separate from the other books.Flag

Name: Jan Callaway on Sep 24, 2008Comments: We are not asking for removal or banning. Just common sense. By respecting ALL values, as you say you are attempting to do, then allow us the choice to not have our children exposed to this. If this simple request cannot be honored, your agenda becomes crystal clear.Flag
