Giovanni Caboto park is beautiful but limited for our children to play Team sports. Lack of lighting and infrastructure in the park give our kids no choice to play hockey, basketball or hiding go seek on our streets. What are we promoting? Participaction! We encourage our kids to go outside and play. Certain games are played in the parks and others on the street. While kids are playing, parents or walking and chatting in our neighbourhood. We call this enjoying the outdoors and neighborhood watching. Our kids are our eyes for in our community while Parents keep eyes on our kids and foreign visitors.
