This petition is requesting limits to be set forth governing the CPSI act on the buying and selling of used children's items. At a time where our country is struggling financially and the middle class families are barely making it, we need not impose regulation that would limit families to buy or sell used childrens items that are not known to have defect or high lead content. The waste incurred by having to dispose of perfectly good and reusable items/or clothing is irresponsible and intolerable in light of our economy and conservation efforts . The signing of this petition supports the belief that we have the right to buy and sell merchandise that was manufactured prior to Feb 2009, based upon our own research and discretion.
