Anyone who has seen the Birmingham City Council in action knows this city deserves better. The City Council exists mainly as a barrier to progress due to the fact that none of them can get along and use city council meetings as opportunities to express displeasure with each other rather than advance any policies or items beneficial to Birmingham or its citizens.
