| 155 | Anonymous | I believe everyone should have access to public
physiotherapy at all hospitals. If a private facility
wishes to open outside of this that's fine, but people
should be able to have that choice. |
| 156 | Anonymous | My mother is 79 and may need that service for an injury she recently had.
If she is required to go outside Kincardine, maybe Mr. Davies will offer to provide the shuttle, especially in the dead of winter. |
| 157 | Leo Verschuren | As a health care worker, I am disturbed by the trend that is happening to the Kincardine Hospital. We can no longer provide good health care to the community. |
| 158 | Kim Soeder | |
| 159 | Shari Storms-Roberts | This is ridiculous. Why should a private company be given publically funded office space? Who is this company? Are they friends of Mr. Davies and he's lining some pockets? Why not put this private company in Walkerton and leave Kincardine alone? Why force this on Kincardine? Many can't afford to pay the private fees. Why should they have to when physio is a funded service? What about those who have no means of transport to go to a clinic 45 minutes away? What about extreme Bruce County winters and people can't get to a regional facility? Is our heath and recovery not as important? Why should we need to travel for services we've already paid for through public funds, taxes, OHIP tax, etc.? We have public health care in this country; why should we pay for private two -tiered services? Why are all of Kincardine's services going to Walkerton??? Isn't it time we got rid of Mr. Davies who is taking all the services away from surrounding hospitals and putting them in his hometown hospital in Walkerton (maternity, etc.). It's time Kincardine pulls out of the SBGHC and we go it on our own. We declining services we will never recruit new doctors or retain the ones we already have. We are not a dying community; we are a growing community and deserve the same service levels as Walkerton and others. The ONLY thing to do is reverse this decision. I for one REFUSE to use this new private company. |

| 161 | Janet Gurr | Kincardine is making it harder and harder for seniors to live in this beautiful town. I was raised here from the age of 5 days and want to spend my last days here also. but the disregard that services and merchants are giving us is terrible. A lot of us have no independent way of getting around. The Physio department is just another example of yhe money grab and to hell with the common person. Not everyone works at the Bruce , A lot are on VERY limited income and can't afford to pay for therapy. |

| 164 | bill spehr | this is another gigantic piss-take in this region |
| 165 | Mike Dunn | It is realy too bad we elected a
Conservative governmwt thatstared all this. I can understand why the medical profeson is upset over this. They care about sick people, especially insane ones. |

| 167 | Anonymous | I think it is absolutely ridiculous to have to travel so far for a service that is already here and should stay. This company should realize that all the people in this town and surrounding areas do not all have high paying jobs and just live on a small income. |
| 168 | Karen Matheson | Health care should not only be available to people who can afford it. |
| 169 | mindy ayers | |
| 170 | Malcolm Young | Physiotherapy is part of the medically required treatment package necessary for full recovery from many injuries and ailments. This treatment should continue to be made available locally under OHIP to those who require it to be able to function in society without chronic crippling pain. |

Private costs the tax payers more. |

| 181 | Percy .G. COLE | It seems that the C.E.O & the ONT GOV has forgotten that WE the(POPULACE) have the RIGHT to PROPER MEDICAL FACILITIES in KINCARDINE not those of a M.A.S.H unit or a FWD IST AID MEDICAL STATION! |

| 184 | Heather Wright | They will start with Kincardine and it will move to all the other sites. You are the beginning. This is very unfair to people who need the physio. |

| 186 | Michael McLuhan | The erosion of health care services is reprehensible. There has to be a balancing of budgeting and cutting that enables citizens universal access. Maybe means testing is the only way to go. Those over certain income levels would pay for health coverage and those under have it free, or a graduated version of this. |

| 188 | Danuta Valleau | Maintenance of public access to an important health service in recovery and prevention as physiotherapy can provide is essential in our health system! |
| 189 | Adam Hervieux | This service that they are going to make people pay for was 100% needed after my surgery. |

| 198 | Anonymous | I wish to support the reversal of the boards decision to privitize physiotherapy at the Kincardine Hospital. This is an area in significant need of publicly funded physiotherapy as the majority of this region is a farming/labour community and these patients would not otherwise be able to access physiotherapy. Also, with the growing number of joint replacements, it is essential to have follow-up for all patients and not those that have solely private coverage (considering this option already exists for those with coverage, prior to this change). It is my wish as a physiotherapist within Grey Bruce that the LHIN make physiotherapy as a required covered service for the region and not an elective service as it has been deemed by this decision. |
