We, the undersigned, are in support and interested in the project proposed by Krannert students Jon Wang, Jim Sigler, DJ Tamer, and Joe Yu. Due to the lack of opportunities and events geared to Sports Marketing here at Krannert, we feel that this project will provide insight, applicable and relevant experience, and real-life leadership opportunities to all those that wish to participate in this niche subject. |

WSOC (World Series of Cornhole)
Team:
Jon Wang
Jim Sigler
DJ Tamer
Joe Yu
Sponsored in conjunction with KESIC (Krannert Entertainment Sports Industry Club)
President: Amy Walgenbach, MBA 2006
Mission: To transform lesser-known, emerging trends and events into popular brand-name offerings. We aim to identify low-learning curve niche products and services to bring to national prominence.
We, the members of WSOC and KESIC, seek to successfully organize the first and only World Series of Cornhole (WSOC) event here at Purdue University and to create and build the WSOC brand into a prominent organization for competing Cornhole players nationwide.
Cornhole, or Corn Toss, is a game in which players take turns pitching small bags filled with corn (or beans) at a raised platform with a hole in the far end. |
