Name: Honey Weiss on Apr 22, 2003State: ALCountry: USComments: In light of the revelations that continue to come forth from Kentucky and the gross indifference to the suffering of victims of sexual abuse at the hands of Catholic clergy I agree that it is mandatory that Kelly step down. He is a part of the conspiracy that has led to the mass victimization of children and adults by his employees. He should be presecuted for his part in this hideous crime spree.Flag

Name: Angela Frohlich on Apr 23, 2003State: FLCountry: USComments: The church and the leaders of the Church MUST be held accountable for the things they have known and have done nothing about. If I had molested one of my own children, the state would have removed them from my care and I would have been punished by the full extent of the law. Priets are NO DIFFERENT. THEY MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE TOO!!!!!Flag

Name: Robin Perkins on Apr 23, 2003State: KYCountry: USComments: I was born & raised Catholic. However, I am now proudly a Baptist. The Catholic church cares more about how much money you have than you as a human. I can honestly say that NO Catholic church has treated me in the way the Baptist church does that I now attend. I will never go back. The church has been too much of a disappointment to me over my life.Flag

Name: Tom Mason on Apr 24, 2003State: KYCountry: USComments: I am not a victim of sexual abuse, nor do I know anyone who is, but, being a former Roman Catholic, I know that the basic structure of the church is a huge problem that lends itself to problems and scandals like this. Kelly must go. Shame on him for not resigning already and shame on the Pope for not dealing forcefully with this scandal. The only way to stop the abuses and arrogance of the Roman Catholic church is to hit them where it hurts the most...in the pocketbook. Catholics need to STOP putting money into the collection plates on Saturdays and Sundays!!! Sadly, that is the only way to get results.Flag
