Name: Bobby Sikes on Jan 20, 2007Comments: My Father is a veteran in fact, my father is our encouragement to start this petition. Just read the letter at the top and you'll understand and besides it is our right to smoke if we want. It is bad enough that they have driven the taxes on tobacco to such outrageous amounts and still want them higher. I say enough is enough, it's time to take a stand and fight for our rights, their not attacking alcohol like they are tobacco let them go for that for a while. In fact look at the ads on this page, the ones on here as I type this letter our anti-smoker ads. I realize they say tobacco kills but it is our choice to make. And for another thing "My thoughts" are if you want to know why they are not after alcohol it's probably because 90% of the poloticians are going home after work and drinking to their hearts content. Just think about it alcohol takes more teen lifes( actual teen death) each year than tobacco does in ten. So sit there and think about it and then when your tired of being controlled stand up and do something, sign this petition and let your voice be heard. IT'S OUR RIGHTS TO SMOKE IF WE WANT. They should not be able to take it away and I know some people will say " Oh, their not taking it away their just restricting it but think about those vetrans confined to hospitals for long periods of time that can't smoke that restiction takes away a right they fought for, watched their brothers and sisters die for, and they ( the Government and Big Co-ops) are taking that right away. Smokers have right too, there should be a smoking area set-up on every hospital campus, cause I'll bet 2 to 1 they don't make their employees go with out ciggarettes or chewing tobacco. That way NON-SMOKERS don't have to be around the smoke. I mean after all " It's only fair, It's only our Rights" Sincerely; Bobby SikesFlag
