   Comments (Why do you think the school shouldn't be shut down): It's a school, rather a well knit community, that believes in the quality of education. I've spent a lot of my most cherish-able and important moments at The Westminster School and I am where I am today because of it. The last five years of secondary schooling that I did there has broadened my horizons and given me multiple opportunities. It would be unfortunate if we have to say goodbye to an institution such as TWS with such high standards of education and teaching and where so many students find their potential. It really does take your best and make it better. It lives up to its motto.

TWS IS ONE BIG FAMILLY N' NO ONE WILL EVER SEPARATE US.. when i knew about the story i felt so angry and words won't ever explain ma sadness! please keep our school!

    Comments (Why do you think the school shouldn't be shut down): It is heart reanding to accept the fact that our school ,The westminster school would soon no longer exist. The place where we see as our second home , the our fellow school mates and teachers as our second family . Loosing all this indispensable gift that we are lucky to have , in just one snap is really difficult to unburden. And breaking hearts of 5000 students 250 teachers jus for the sake of profit and money isn't the solution.

Have seen the school progress in a positive way ! current students are going to face a lot of problem due to its shutdown and the reason given for shutting down (problem of structure fees) is disagreeable!

    Comments (Why do you think the school shouldn't be shut down): this school is my second home , its where my best memories were made and where i've had my first experiences and shutting it down would be like going home one day to find that your furniture is different and the people living in your home are unknown to ,,, and they tell u that u are no longer welcome to come back to the place u have spent half your life in..... Also something that bothers me is that the gems foundation are building schools in Africa and other countries but they cant seem to manage the funds of their own school???

I'm now an architecture student in Cairo and I have found my education level very reasonable in comparison to students coming from all over the world. I really think that the school fees should be raised rather than shutting the school down !

    Comments (Why do you think the school shouldn't be shut down): For more than a decade this school has trandform life of many students to a responsible member of this society and have nurtured them into professional to face the challenges of this life with ease. I have completed my O-Levels in year 2000 and now after 11 years I have my daughter studying in the same school and i was happy to see my daughter is in same school as me . But this news has deeply made me sad as i want it to continue .

    Comments (Why do you think the school shouldn't be shut down): this school has been since i have been able to talk and walk and the fact that we keep going back to it every year in its parties proves how all its alumni love it and miss it. we have lived our teenage years there, and those are the days we look back at and smile. i personally would love to have TWS there forever so i would always remember it and so others can make the same memories as well. Also, this school is the second home for alot of children that are going to suffer if this school closes, friends will be separated, and teachers will lose their jobs. overall, i think that TWS shouldn't close because it is too important to a lot of people and this petition proves so.

And I personally think its totally unfair to close an entire school that was there for generations just because of some silly money issues that can be solved by increasing the fees. NOT BY SHUTTING THE SCHOOL. TOTALLY AGAINST THIS ACTION!!!!!!!!

    Comments (Why do you think the school shouldn't be shut down): TWS is one of the education provider’s biggest institutes in the emirate plus that the reasons given for the closure is kind of weird they could have simply increased the fees and am sure that most of the parents wouldn't mind such a thing. In addition, they should keep in mind that by this decision they will be leaving thousands of people unemployed and uneducated and preventing a source of income for many conductors, nannies and helpers.

If the low fee structure is causing the issue then the fees should be increased, pretty simple! It would be much better than shutting down the school, that is loved by many students and wherein in the future I would love to send my children to! Kindly hear our protests! The school should not shut down for such reasons, a solution is pretty clear, increase the fees and then the school can afford the infrastructure it needs etc. Some parents may not want to pay the increased fees, but many will, because it is an amazing school!

    Comments (Why do you think the school shouldn't be shut down): I've ben in westminster school since1998 kg1 till I graduated frm highschool year 2011 grade 11 I have been in the school for 13 years and I felt bad wen I was leaving for my last year 2012 for grade 12 but I had to I went to anther school and I reali understood what westminster gave us and how they rasied us. I understood the meaning of family and we r all brothers nd sister nobody is different. I just want this school to continue beacuase it will also teach other genaration how to love and care for each other.
