   Comments (Why do you think the school shouldn't be shut down): When i heard the school is going to shut down i starred on the wall and a video of all the memories i had in the school appeared in front of my eyes Honestly speaking they used to teach us about the GEMS core values and with every activity the teachers injected my brain with this BUT frankly speaking after leaving the school and came to lebanon to study all what i though was stupid made me special not only among my mates in uni but in this country the memories, the friends and the teachers who were like our own parents these things shouldnt be deprived from our world because of matters such as financial problems please dont collapse this great institute that was the home of an ideal world where every religion member live with the other and share the same food, and every single race live with the other and learn to accept each other!! PLEASE DON'T SHUT THE SCHOOL!!! please don't deprive the world of this institution that leads kindly light. AS ONE BIG FAMILY! WESTMINESTERIANS WE STAND!!!

The school in which i studied last year was 'good' according to the ministry, it was formal, boring , plain and all about academics. I joined TWS and I've got to say TWS is an all-rounder I feel like my talents that are not related to academics are being recognized. Art, Writing, Singing, Plays etc. and not only that we are given so many opportunities to express ourselves and that is a very amazing accomplishment for a school. The teachers are excellent educators who give worksheets and go in-depth to see if the student understands the concept. I 'm not exaggerating, sugar-coating or whatever. The students are not only good at other arts but also academics, sports and so many things. This school isn't your boring, dumb school where the students are incapable of critical thinking. No, this school means a lot to me. I don't want to feel like a robot giving millions of tests every day again. LEAVE TWS ALONE!

(others can relate, I'm sure) *The school is committed to & provides a high quality educational experience. *Think of all the excellent staff that will face unemployment. *Think of the upcoming students who will not get to experience graduation & walk out a proud Westminstarian. P.S- not to mention our senior events that they'll be missing. *It's very unfair to ask the parents of approx 4,800 students to make other arrangements for their kids. *The other TWS branches operating in Shj & RAK just CANNOT compare to our Ghusais branch. I mean, cmmon .. *The short span over which our school has flourished is outstanding.

I find the decision to shut down simply preposterous and very unnerving. Action needs to be taken since I believe such a remarkable school will leave a large void in the education market in the Emirates. Moreover, while many found that the large masses of students lead to distractions, I believe it brought about the best in each of us.

And, this may be very selfish, but also, really, I don't want my childhood to shut down. I've been in TWS since Grade1, and graduated from Grade11. This place has so many memories, it's horrible thinking of it being demolished and "just another building" placed on top of it. Please, rethink, and be strategic.
