Name: Jack Nuttall on Aug 11, 2011Comments: $33 for the development can not be justified when essential health services are being cut. Simple track maintenance and a tourism campaign would achieve the same results at a significantly reduced cost.Flag

Name: Maggy Hunter on Aug 26, 2011Comments: Dear Brian, I urge you to refuse approval of the proposed Three Capes Development. This wonderful area, its flora, fauna, landscapes and seascapes needs to be protected from insensitive and highly impacting development. By all means please improve the current tracks and opportunities for day walks. Yours sincerely Maggy HunterFlag

Name: Stephen Stolp on Aug 29, 2011Comments: What we have now in terms of facilities is fine. The walks are excellent, in reach as day or multi day walks; spend the money elsewhere, where it's needed.Flag

Name: Alderman Kay McFarlane on Sep 4, 2011Comments: This project does not have the support of many of the locals nor is it needed. Please reconsider and redirect $$ towards the renewal of current infrastructure and not the 'Privatisation of Public lands", leasing out National Parks for private gain is not a public benefit.Flag

Name: Sharon Moore on Sep 4, 2011Comments: This is a truly special area; its nature conservation values should not be sacrificed for the sake of profit for a few. The Tasman Peninsula community would be much better served by more sensitive eco-tourism options, where people would stay in the local area. Also, the bushwalkers who want to use the area, and use it with much lower impacts, will only be put off by the helicopters and the new infrastructure: I know I won't be going there again if this development happens. It beggars belief that the government is even considering this option when it is cutting spending in areas of vital services and infrastructure.Flag
