Comments: Given the fact that our government propaganda centers, aka schools, have brainwashed the masses I feel compassion for the ignorant and bigoted hypocrites. Decorated UNION war veteran Ambrose Beirce might be less forgiving however. A brilliant writer, he once told someone like you - “The brave respect the brave, the brave respect the dead, but YOU, you wave that ancient blade, THE ASSES JAW, and shake it o’er a hero’s grave”! Resistance to tyranny is service to God. -- James Madison J KYle Jones

Comments: "Every man should endeavor to understand the meaning of subjugation before it is too late... It means the history of this heroic struggle will be written by the enemy; that our youth will be trained by Northern schoolteachers; will learn from Northern school books their version of the war; will be impressed by the influences of history and education to regard our gallant dead as traitors, and our maimed veterans as fit objects for derision... It is said slavery is all we are fighting for, and if we give it up we give up all. Even if this were true, which we deny, slavery is not all our enemies are fighting for. It is merely the pretense to establish sectional superiority and a more centralized form of government, and to deprive us of our rights and liberties." -- Maj. General Patrick R. Cleburne, CSA, January 1864, writing on what would happen if the Confederacy were to be defeated

Comments: It's sad to think how many uneducated Americans there are in this country and trying to change history when they don't even know anything about the historic facts. The War Between the States wasn't over slavery, if it was the slaves in the North wouldn't have had to wait till 1865. Why don't these whiners tell the facts such as Confederate African-Americans and their descendants are members of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. What about the fact that "Free Negro's" actually owned slaves. The third biggest slave owner in S.C. was Black and his sons volunteered to serve in a S.C. Confederate artillery company. The U.S. Constitution allowed states to leave the Union until 1865. Mr. Lincoln violated the U.S. Constitution many times. He also had newspaper owners, reporters thrown in prisons with access to lawyers or their day in court, one being the son of Francis Scott Key. Want-A-Be historicans are not only showing dishonot toward White Confederate soldiers, but also African-American and Native American Confederat soldiers. Also, the Confederate flag flew over slavery less than 4 years and the U.S. flag flew over slavery over 80 years, does that mean the U.S. flag and memorials needs to come down Actual campaign speeches written by Abe Lincoln were uncovered and he told Northern supporter the Negro would never be equal to the White man and he said much more on the subject, so should the Lincoln Memorial be torn down, his picture taken off of U.S. money, etc. Most want-a-be historians and those seeking attention through the media, etc. Why don't they choose a worth while cause like supporting monuments to honor Native Americans, after all their rights have been violated since 1492 to present. Their lands stolen and mass murder under the U.S. flag, again should the U.S. come down. Also, these publicy hungry want-a-be historians have compared the Confederate flag to the Nazi's, yet these people act like Nazi's, wanting to change history, go against the majority who wants to honor their Confederate soldier ancestors, etc. And in closing, one of my ancestors was the Commanding Officer of the 1st NY CAV. (Union), one was killed serving in the 98th ILL. INF. and another ancestor was a Major in the 37th TN. INF. (Confederate) killed in action and his son replaced him and he was placed on the CSA Medal of Honor list for action at the Battle of Murfressboro. And I will honor my Confederate ancestors, equal to my Union ancestors, no matter how much whining is done by these publicy hungry politically correct liberal (aka Marxist) or racist fakes using the title Rev. for personal gain and publicy. The War Between the States ended 143 years ago, these publicy hungry whiners wanting to destroy our history and all other Americans better be worrying about the present, politically correct liberal (aka Marxist) politicans and their puppet judges are destroying America, 8 million illegal aliens getting welfare, food stamps, etc., gas companies making billions of dollars profit and raising gas prices daily, etc. Not one Confederate or Union veteran, nor one former slave or one Black or White slave owner is alive today, let them rest in peace. For God and Country. (Yes, I said "God", now all you politically correct liberal (Marxist) can whine about it for awhile :-)

Comments: This monument should stand. Southerners had to learn how to cope with people who do not agree with them the hard way. Why should Northerners not have to cope with ideas they do not understand or agree with Tearing down this monument would be an act of ignorance, not only of basic morality, but of the very fabric which is so integral to the history of America.

Comments: People need to look at the Jewish agenda here. Jews like Aron live as a minority amongst other people. www.natall.com/free-speech/fs9812b.html The way Jews take over a country like they did in Communist Russia www.zundelsite.org/english/jews-under-stalin/index.html is they open the borders to non European / non-indigenous people, they force them together via busing, fair housing laws and affirmative action and they attack the culture and traditions of the host people to weaken them making easier prey. A good source on this is California State University Professor Kevin MacDonald www.csulb.edu/~kmacd/books-Preface.html The solution to the problem is expelling these haters and this is why the the history of the Jews is one expulsion after the other over the last 2000 years.

Comments: Instead of tearing down OUR MEMORIALS TO OUR PATRIOTIC ANCESTORS AND ERASING OUR HISTORY, it would make a lot more sense to just remove those who are intolerant of us and our ancestors. Any one who does not love Dixie, our memorials, our flag, our traditions, and our history, should just stay out of Dixie!!!!! Why would such an individual even come to Dixie What do you think the reason might be that I have no plans to visit Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Mexico, or that Union to the North
