In 2010, RIF provided 4 million children with 15 million books to keep as their own. Yet, there are still millions more children in need!!!

Even more so than ever, reading is very important. Our countries' education system continually suffers but this is one thing that proves to be extraordinarily valuable to those who are part of it. Nearly two-thirds of low-income families in the United States do not own any books. This is a statistic we should be working on improving rather than just sweeping it under the rug. I ask that you take a stand with me against this government cut. By signing you will proclaim, "Reading IS Fundamental!". (Note: I am not a member of the RIF organization, just a former RIF Tutor who wants to keep the spirit alive!)
