| 223 | Bob Hauser | Not a resident of Petaluma...but am just over the hills to the east of it and have to come there often enough...and I've had to see first hand what yuppification has done to small towns and the havoc it wreaks. Take Sonoma, just to your east....they've sodomized the place with trash development and turned it into a sleazy tourist trap where everything is dirt cheap EXCEPT THE PRICES which the people who have been living in this area for decades can't afford---even the necessities of life. And Sonoma is in fact turning into a social dumpster with rich idiot high rollers and low-lifes. It won't be long before Sonoma begins to look and smell just like Vallejo, California, and Petaluma is getting there very rapidly and will continue straight to hell in a pan of its own grease if your city councilmembers don't get their heads out of rectal defilade. |
