I propose a government funded transportation to keep the intoxicated drivers off our streets. My idea is that all businesses who sell alcohol pay a higher tax on all alcohol sold. In turn, the businesses would raise the price on alcohol and consumers of alcohol will be paying the tax which will fund the transportation for people who are over the legal BAC limit. This would keep the drunks off the streets and save many innocent lives, which could very well be your OWN, YOUR family members, and/or friends. This would be a great help, especially in the rural areas where a taxi service is obsolete, and it's just you sharing many dangerous roads with OVER INTOXICATED drivers! Also, this would create jobs in a time of need.

It says here I need to enter information about my petition sponsor, sadly, I do not have one. If anyone would like to sponsor me you can email me at d.daugs@yahoo.com I feel this is a great idea and I'm willing to work hard to get this enforced. I would like to see my tax dollars going somewhere else other than caring for drunks in jail, they should pay for their own habits and consequences...not us! Again ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME:)
