Continue efforts to maintain a clean and environmentally friendly beach utilizing equitable measures to protect wildlife with consideration to Pacifica Residents, their pets, local business and tourism. ______________________________________________________ Open Space Committee Votes 9-0 for Linda Mar Beach Dog Ban The Open Space Committee has voted 9-0 to recommend banning dogs from sand areas of Pacifica State Beach at Linda Mar. Here is the text of the committee's recommendation, which is advisory to the City Council: Whereas Title 14, Section 4312 of California Code of Regulations prohibits dogs on state beaches of California News Release,6 August 02).     5 years ago Comments: I find the OSC and Paul Keel recommendations in violation of common sense. They may as well ban people too because of the snowy plover. There are many other less frequented beaches where the birds are plentiful.How about some dog owner rights!!!!!
