Lance Streetman has been told to resign as director of the school effective June 4, 2013. We wish to petition the board to keep Lance. He became director in 2010 and has done an outstanding job and we feel he should remain in his position and not forced to resign and an outside source take over. Lance will continue to improve the school and move it forward. 

He has set up a team at the MTI that is second to none in the nation. Our welding program is top in the country and there is more access to education not only for apprentice but for Journeymen as well. Lance and his team has achieved this. By removing him you are breaking up the team. MTI will never be the same. We ask that the board reconsider their decision and keep Lance Streetman as Executive Director.
