    Comments: The Individual Pursuit is probably the best way to measure a cyclists strengths in terms of speed and in indurance. The Olympics would be sadly missing something of value if the Individual Pursuit was dropped for the competition. I would like to see the individual pursuit included in the Olympics. Now and forever.     Comments: The omnium is nothing like the pure test of speed and stamina that is the individual pursuit - please do not remove it.

    Comments: Keep the points race too. The Omnium is so lame, no one cares. The proposed change will ruin endurance track cycling, McQuaid has his head up his ass if he thinks differently.

    Comments: The cycling track events need to be expanded not reduced. Cycling has few events compared to other events such as swimming, & track & field. If cost is a concern why not let cyclists pay all their costs.
