   Comments: Corporate Starbucks should not have made this decision without visiting this store or without consulting its customers. They have ruined their company reputation by making such a horrible decision. They have inevitably decided that they want ALL their Starbucks locations to feel cookie cutter and not at all community friendly. If they need to close a Starbucks location in Benicia, they should close the Southampton Starbucks or the Blockbuster Starbucks. In fact, the Blockbuster Starbucks is the one that created this mess in the first place. DON'T MAKE A HUGE MISTAKE. You will lose tons of money with this decision. First Street Starbucks serves as the watering hole for Farmer's Markets (every Thursday), holiday events (Fourth of July parade, etc.), Friday's on First, Peddler's Fair, Arts in the Park, the list goes on and on. Benicia tolerates Starbucks. Benicia tolerated Starbucks because of the First Street location. As a twice to three times a day frappuccino drinker - I WILL BOYCOTT STARBUCKS if you close this location! You do the math!

   Comments: As a business person, that enjoys and visits HARBOR WALK AKA FIRST STREET STARBUCKS in BENICIA, is extremely disappointed to hear the proposed closing of this great location. It is the "ONLY ONE" I visit in Benicia for my favorite Coffee Frappuccino. Please DON'T close this location!!! Even Jay Leno said on his show today, that there are many upset customers filing petitions!! Please listen to the PEOPLE!! SFBayAreaEvents.com (best source in the bay)

   Comments: I completely AGREE with this PETITION! I love the Harbor Walk, 1st Street Starbucks and it's atmosphere. Love going there for my favorite Starbucks drink and hanging out with my daughter, who totally LOVES this Starbucks. It's our home away from home. :-) PLEASE DON'T CLOSE THIS ONE!!!

   Comments: Only coffeeshop at the end of 1st street that offers a large space for meeting friends and family. Great spot for bike clubs to meet before rides. Great location for business during fairs and festivals.

    Comments: As a resident of Benicia for 35 years, I have truly enjoyed Starbucks at the foot of First Street, and would be very dissappointed to see it leave. It's an asset to First Street, and provides a comfortable environment with an excellent staff. Besides, where else can you step out the door and wander down to the waterfront to enjoy such a great view or just chat with friends with a cup of coffee in tow. It's truly a refreshing experience at Starbucks. I support your cause.

    Comments: I used to go there every night between 8 and 9 until you changed the hours. Now I ride my Vespa to the downtown Starbucks on weekends and when I get home from work in time. I like to park it by the Harleys owned by people who also frequent the store. It's a funny contrast. I love the location, the chairs, the people and the ambiance it adds to downtown Benicia. I have created an amazing cast of charcters for my next novel based on people I've met at the store. Please don't close it. Also, my neighor works there and he is a really nice person.
