Although as a parish we understand that Father McKeon does not belong to us and has a greater mission from God on this planet, we are respectfully asking the Archdiocese to temporarily reconsider this reassignment for a variety of reasons: 1. This Parish has gone through so much in the last couple of years with the loss of Father Higgins, Father Meade and now Father McKeon. Although very strong, there is only so much our parish can handle. 2. Under Father\'s leadership many families have decided to sacrifice financially and move their kids from public school to St Gregory Barbarigo. Also, with the closing of Immaculate Parish School, for many parents already upset and hurt with their school

I have finalized the formal letter addressed to the Archdiocese detailing our concerns regarding the instability caused by these rapid leadership changes. This document will be delivered to the Chancellor tomorrow morning to ensure our perspective is part of their official record.

The Archdiocese has acknowledged the volume of this petition and requested a formal meeting to discuss our concerns. I am currently drafting a briefing document outlining the impact of these reassignments on our school enrollment and parish stability.

This is so unfair. We have been through enough transitions already. Stop moving people around when we finally have some stability.

Father McKeon is the heart of this parish. We have lost too many good priests lately and we just cant take another goodbye right now.

My kids actually want to attend mass now because of him. Why would you ruin a good thing when the parish is finally doing so well?

The archdiocese really needs to listen to us for once. He moved my kids to the school and has done wonders. Leave him here!
