Petition to change the by-law concerning the keeping of exotic pets in The City of Hamilton, ON. According to the By-law we are not allowed to keep any class 4 or 5 animal within the city. This by-law states that we are not permitted to keep any exotic pet at all. This petition is to make a positive impact on, and to further our society by allowing the thousands of good people who already own exotic pets not break any laws. The current By-law is extremely outdated, passed the 28th of August, 1984, and absolutely needs to be updated, to compensate the more and more people choosing exotics as pets.
