We, the families of Scott Elementary, would like the Colorado Springs School District 11 Board of Education and Superintendant Geldich to move to keep Dr. Howard at Scott Elementary and not involuntarily relocate him to Hunt Elementary for the 2012-2013 school year. Consider the following reasons: - He does what is best for students ALWAYS! Not just academically but socially and emotionally. -He is respected and loved by our community (parents, students, staff and visitors). -He has helped Scott achieve and maintain outstanding academic excellence for our students for 10 consecutive years. -He respects the role of parent involvement in creating and maintaining a winning school. - We have chosen Scott because of its record for student achievement and for its team approach to creating the best school for our children. By forcing Scott into a rebuilding situation you put that status in jeapardy. The change of leadership may result in other staff changes and/or the loss of team morale. - We respect and love him! He has created a family atmosphere at Scott. Its not just a school or just a place to work.
