As most of the people who live near Cherry Tree, go to Cherry Tree, work at Cherry Tree, or who have gone to Cherry Tree know, they are tearing down the big playground at the school. They are also tearing down three softball fields, and a giant field where kids play during recess. As students, teachers, parents, and homeowners know, everyone enjoys the giant Cherry Tree playground. Not only is it a playground, it is a park to people who live near it. Not only is it where kids play, it is the foundation of memories for all of the kids. Plus, they already have three perfectly good softball fields to play on. As citizens of Carmel, we should stop this. We could make a difference, and stop the construction of the new softball complex.
