Name: Marilyn Zdobinski on Jan 15, 2010Comments: Governor Corzine . . .. signing these bills would set back crime victim's rights at least 20 years . . . . . instead of insuring that violent criminals would be imprisoned "for the rest of their lives" as you claimed you were doing when you abolished the death penalty, several of those previously on Death Row could be considered for parole by this "Blue RIbbon Panel" . . .. indeed, Megan Kanka's killer would be eligible in just a few short years . . . .. these provisions were hidden within the prisoner reentry legislation like a ticking time bomb . . . . on behalf of crime victim's survivors throughout this state, please do not sign these bills. marilyn zdobinski, esq., totowa, njFlag

Name: Eva Tucci on Jan 15, 2010Comments: I was a student at Immaculate Heart Academy at the time Kim Montellaro was murdered and knew people that were personally affected by this heinous crime. Neither, the Montellaro's, or any other family in a similar circumstance , should be subjected to reliving these situations, which is what occurs every time a convicted criminal comes up for parole. I believe that the recent situation which occurred in Washington State should serve as an example of what can happen when those with a history of severely violent tendencies are set free.Further victimizing the victims of violent crimes should not be permitted. Please do not sign this billFlag

Name: Anonymous on Jan 15, 2010Comments: Please think about the effect this bill will have on all the crime victims and their families. It is way too broad to cover everyone. It is not fair for victims and their families to have to relive the horror they have dealt with over and over. Please do not sign these bills.Flag

Name: Deborah Anne Roche on Jan 15, 2010Comments: Governor Corzine, I have to ask you, when do the victim's rights matter? When will we see justice again? How does a bill like this even get entertained? As a law abiding citizen it is my right to Feedom from Fear, I am looking to you to protect my rights and the rights of all the law abiding citizens in the state of NJ . Keep the criminal behind bars. Do not sign this bill. Thank you.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Jan 15, 2010Comments: Dear Governor Corzine: I will simply say this. Unless you are completely willing to invite the likes of Christopher Righetti to come live on your street, next door to you, your children or grandchildren, it would be hypocritical of you to sign these bills. In addition, you well know the surge in additional costs this would represent to all involved - especially the taxpayers, in signing these bills.Flag

I knew of Kim Montelaro. She went to my high school and was in my sister's class and was brutally murdered. Her killer must never see the light of day on the outside.Flag
