Comments: Half.com sellers will be more likely to use Amazon.com to sell than move to eBay. eBay is a very different kind of marketplace. Half.com is a great brand that eBay shouldn't just get rid of. It can be a great adjunct and even though eBay is the king already, having a second strong brand can help. Half.com is well liked by its many users for good reason. Good money was spent to build the brand and image. It has a great image that competes head to head with Amazon's used books section. I really like eBay and have used it since 1996, but I am thinking of selling my books, CD's, etc on Amazon NOT eBay. I sell other items on eBay. I think that this is a typical huge corporate decision. Decisions like that usually are based on "business practices" and the real people (users, members, visitors, customers) are not taken into consideration.

Comments: I have been using Half.com & Ebay for a few years now. I would be greatly disappointed if Half.com was taken away. In the past year my business has gone almost completly to Half.com rather than Ebay. I simply prefer half.com over ebay. When half.com shuts down my business will not go to Ebay. I buy a lot of things and I do not want to buy things through an auction. If Half.com closes I will have to find another marketplace....perhaps Amazon.com or somewhere else. I really hope you can change your mind on this one.
