Name: Dolphin J on Jan 9, 2007Comments: Hey Jerkies, As a disgusted Dolphin fan, I know a thing or 2 about quaterback controversies. Since Marino, we've had nothing. I'm sure you feel the same since Len Dawson left. Or Rich Gannon, Todd Collins, Billy Joe Tolliver or was it Steve DeBerg. Either way, as I mentioned I'm a Dolphin fan, and if you're pinning your hopes on Damon Huard, you're in for a big letdown. There's a reason he couldn't beat out Jay Feidler as the starter here years ago. Huard is on par with other great Cheif backups with higher aspirations. Such legendary names as Elvis Grbac, Steve Pelluer and Steve Bono. So please you KC nitwits, aim high...Damon Huard will soon be parking cars at the Golden Ox. Where will your Cheifs be then. If Miami has the smarts to dump him, you can too. And we're really screwed up down here!Flag

Name: Danielle on Jan 9, 2007Comments: hey guys...i'm a pats fan. huard was our backup here a few years ago, and i was never worried that if brady went down, huard couldnt win the game for us. he should have been the starting qb for miami when marino retired. frankly, i wish that herm was still coaching the jets...we had no problems beating them while he was here. your team is very talented...i drool with envy over larry johnson. i think trent is a good qb, but he is getting old. and, i love ty "i gots to eat" law, even though he will go to whatever team pays him so much as a dollar more. unfortunatly, youre never going to win the big game with herm at the helm. he practically ran a spa, not a football team, in his years in new york. herm likes to be buddies with his team, as a result, he puts his buddies in to play, instead of the people who can play the best. he doenst run a disiplined team. look what mangini did with essesinally the same players herm had, minus martin, their best player, by installing disipline. now, we actually have to worry about the jets in new england. your division is very tough...the chargers, the broncos...you bascially need a better coach. a guy who can outsmart and outplay mike shanahan. who can game plan to contain LT. that requires a guy who is going to make his team work, who can make moves for the team without reguard to his personal feelings. look at belicheck, look at the dion branch situtation. no one wanted to see him go. but you draw the line in the sand and you stand firm. we might not win the big game this year, but like always, we're in contention, and we have a chance. i suggest you start a new petition, to get rid of herm. hiring him was a big mistake. you've got a lot of talent (albiet aging) on your team, and everyone knows that herm dumped the jets to take a cushy job with your team and its marquee players as an easy road to the super bowl. and now look at how your season ended up. trust me, even with huard at the helm, as long as herman edwards is your coach, you are doomed.Flag

Brody Croyle is not ready for the big time yet. We need Damon to step in and run this team. He wants it, we want it, let's do it.Flag

Name: Steve on Jan 9, 2007Comments: Frankly, I could care less if Trent stays or goes, or if Damon stays or goes, doesn't matter to me. If anyone needs to go, it's Herm. I wasn't sold on him when he got here and I'm damn sure not now. How in the world can you take the league's top rated offense and turn them into a "ball control" offense Better yet, why would you do that You've got a defense that dramatically improved over the last several years and all of the sudden you're telling your offense to slow down. We were always told during the five years of the Vermeil era that all we needed was an improved defense and we'd see the Super Bowl. Now that we've got the better defense, we've strangled the offense. That falls on the head coach and his philosophy, which did not and will not work. You can't have one side of the ball better than the other and expect to win many games, let alone any playoff games. It's called balance, and until the Chiefs find balance, forget a Super Bowl. Herm is a defensive coach, Vermeil was an offensive coach. Where do we get a coach who understands balance If the offense had been left alone and been allowed to do what they do best, which is score, our playoff run may have lasted longer. The Chiefs will never be Super Bowl contenders with Herm at the helm.Flag

Isn't that what you are looking for in a game manager, Herm Can't we use Tr-INT's freed up cap dollars for some OL, DT, or WR helpFlag

I as a chiefs fan an tired of seeing my team not make the playoffs and losing the first one every time. The Indianoplis Colts are not the Problem. You and your coaching staff cant make the right decisions to win games instead you want to do "what is right" You are not a political icon so stop acting like one. WE WANT A SUPERBOWL!Flag
