The olympic creed is "Higher" "Faster" "Stronger", not "which sport is the most popular, or which sport garners the msot endorsements." Stuart ShydlowskiFlag

Name: Trevor Lopeman on Feb 25, 2013Comments: Wrestling should stay in the olympics because it is a very challenging sport. It is one of the oldest forms of fighting and has been in the Olympics since the Ancient Olympics. There have been great leaders to come out of the sport (quite a few of our presidents were wrestlers). Wrestling can turn boys into men by teaching them about discipline, dedication, sacrifice, hard work, responsibility, accountability, and service, sportsmanship, integrity, and attitude. These are all key things to becoming a great wrestler. Great wrestlers always want to become better and having a lot of people fighting for a chance to go to the Olympics is something that helps the communities of where they are from. It gives these kids, young (wo)men, and adults, more goals to set to keep on getting better and becoming a better person. Don't take wrestling out of the Olympics, it has a reason, a purpose, and a history.Flag

World Strong Men competitors don't have the same functional strength in an actual real full-contact combat situation in terms of being able to move and control your opponent as wrestlers do! truly amazing and super conditioned athletes they are!Flag
