We ask Woodland Park Mayor and City Council to preserve the trees and natural landscape of Woodland Park. Specifically, we strongly object to the removal of about 100 mature pine trees and the flattening of natural land contours for the construction of storage units in a highly visible location at the entrance to Woodland Park. Please deny Mr. Eric Smith's grading permit, request for rezoning, conditional use permit and vacation of right of way at Village Terrace in Woodland Park. Please assure that land at the entrance of Woodland Park achieves its highest and best use and that Woodland Park municipal code and Sunny Glen covenants are adhered to.
