Comments: Local community centers and halls are where the community gets together for special gatherings. I think it's a ridiculous idea to take them away. I have lived in Norfolk County all my life and have gone to many gatherings at local community centers and halls. I couldn't imagine seeing them being sold or closed. Please listen to the members of the community and do not follow through with this.

Comments: These community centres are the gathering places for many residents. Without these buildings, there will be no community feeling!

Comments: Totally agree to keep the halls open. Possibly the citizens of these small communities affected could rally and show more support. Vittoria is a great example of this.

Comments: Repeal the tax hike and CUT the budget down and STOP GIVING your staff meebrms raises till it is done, and your staff meebrms should NOT be getting raises with this budget and you should cutting the budget&even if that included laying off workers cause you should get rid of the least successful workers& have the near retirement take in early retirement then also.Cause you democratic guys have been DOING AN AWFUL JOB in office these past 8 yrs already I can't beleve you are still in office since I am not one of the ones who voted for you at all since I voted republican each time for governer.

Comments: This tax increase was patetnly unfair to non-governmental Illinoisans. Raising our IL taxes 66% to accommodate the demands of state worker union members is grossly unfair. Pat Quinn's I'll give you whatever you want if you promise me your vote relationship with state workers must end, hopefully by replacing him with someone who more values their integrity. Repeal this tax. Now!

Comments: So true - it's not as though the BBC doesn't pdvoire other places people can get their news fix, after all! And much of the news is either waffle or barrel-scraping and really *doesn't* need an update! And it's not as though they couldn't claw some time back by reducing the number of repeats, either... #bbcgrouch
