Keep the Gym on Campus Open

The Dean of Students, Brian Hipkin, wants to close down the on site gym at university without the consent of the students but if enough of us email to voice concern about it we can try our best to stop him.
Lots of students consider the gym to be extremely valuable, some are competitive athletes who need this facility and the alternative being proposed is too far and too expensive.
We need aconvenient place to keep fit and the gym has a positive social atmosphereconducive to good health of body and mind that is a service that the university should provide us on campus and not off campus.
Please make sure you sign this petition to oppose the decision to close the gympermanently.
