Molestation of children needs no explanation. Regardless of the circumstances anyone anywhere can immediately understand the depths of destruction that this has on a child, a family, a community. the time these molestors due could never, will never close and heal these wounds. The debt they pay to society NEVER erases these acts. No degree of remorse or regret erases these acts. Sometimes at the end of the day the only thing these children have is the fact that society felt they had been done wrong and put them in jail. To serve 12, 14 maybe 18 months to show how sorry they are for taking their innocence and forever altering their futures. I understand that he will get out. Of that I am certain. I understand that I will have to learn to live with that. Of that I am certain. I understand that he will serve the greatest amount of time for what he did that is allowed by law. Of this I am NOT certain.
