Hi everyone My name is Katrina and I have made this petition to support my husband Sy, He has been at PEC (Paderborn Equestrian Centre) since September 2009, As his regiments Drum Horse Groom & Rider. For someone who started with no equestrian knowlege or riding ability, he has come so far with only ever having a few lessons, and obviously he has learnt from the best (Oh thats me) ;) haha He loves his job, and has actually found a purpose and a passion in his life....... he also helps out with liveries, and the yard as a whole, and does everything to the best of his ability. The reason for this petition is that Sy is now being removed in May from PEC and being replaced for unknown reasons! In my own personal opinion I have never witnessed such a connection between someone and their horse as i have with Sy and his horse Big Charlie! AKA Alamein (his regimental name). At first you couldnt even get on him from the mounting block, or even do up his girth once you got on him without him bolting off into the distance! He now picks his feet up by voice command and follows behind him like a puppy, this is all just the tip of the iceburg! He has come so far, it would be a shame to split them up wouldnt it? Charlie is part of our family and it will be a very very sad day for all of us when Sy has to say goodbye, and I would and will do ANYTHING to keep them both together! As many people who know Sy, will tell you that.........NO ONE will ever be as passionate about PEC as Sy.
