After 17 summers of great music and wonderful volunteers, this 2014 Sudbury Summerfest will be the last due to the city council members "toxic relationship" with the Summerfest organizers. Sudbury Summerfest is one of the biggest attractions that Sudbury has and without that, we're going to look like a ghost town. It's like shutting down Science North, or taking down the big nickel. We would truly have nothing left to offer. This ENTIRE festival is run by volunteers who want to be a part of the tourism we have in Sudbury. 4 nights a year where all of Sudbury is welcome to participate in a music festival and they want to shut it down. We do not want to see our city turn into a place where no one can truly enjoy music culture, or where no body wants to come. So please we ask you to keep Summerfest going, for the tourists and the citizens of Sudbury.
