A petition to the Mayor Eaton of Russellville and to the Russellville City Council concerning the “Master Plan” for downtown Russellville.

As documented in the Russellville Courier on 7/21/2014, Mayor Eaton stated, “Other Main Street improvements in the Master Plan include a “road diet” to feature one driving lane in each direction, special pavers and a landscaped median, and back-in angled on-street parking.”

Please hear the people of Russellville as we plead with you not to make downtown Russellville a traffic bottleneck. Main Street needs to remain 4 lanes wide. Medians and bike lanes are welcome in Russellville as long as we maintain the standard lane width of at least 12 feet.

Signatures may only be obtained from registered voters who reside in Russellville, Arkansas.
