It seems to me that the Government of this country has gotten a lot bigger than our Founding Fathers intended it to be. Our Founding Fathers left England because of high taxes and a Government that controlled too much of people's lives. Where as now, taxes continue to rise for everyone, and some government officials are trying to take away some of our rights. The Framers of the Constitution wrote the "right to bear arms" as the Second Amendment because it is one of the most important rights we could have. Guns are our only protection from criminals and a tyranical government that wants to take rights aaway from us and keep us dependant on the Government. This Petition is to show Government Officials that the majority of people don't want the Government in every aspect of our lives. So lets tell the Government that we want to be left alone and keep our right to freedom.
