Name: ALLAN L BISHOP on Oct 14, 2012Comments: Fox Preserves provide a safe environment in which one can run and trai hounds. They serve to eliminate confrontations with landowners as well as with vehicles. And there is a lifelong heritage of fox hunting in Virginia! All of which are trying to be eliminated by HSUS & PETA! We know PETA "pets" are liars and that has been proven in court! HSUS does distort truths and purports lies to be truths; all of which were exposed to the General Assembly Committee meetings. How can anyone in the political arena believe proven liars?? Support the future of Fox Preserves and the right to fox hunt in this great Commonwealth!!Flag

Name: Michael Parker on Oct 14, 2012Comments: I run my dogs in one pen or another once or twice a week just to exercise and condition them. I find this not only very relaxing but have also met many fine hunters in these facilities. My son is now 19 but has grown up running dogs and now has some of his own. Every night I go he goes and its a relief knowing he loves the sport as much as I do not to mention knowing how many other bad things are out there to draw a youth to trouble. When he is in the pen he's not on the street and to me and his mother thats a pure blessing.Flag

Animals are not more important than a human life and the amount of support that is given from hounds-man is better than most folks everknow. Name: Marilyn Bishop on Oct 15, 2012Comments: Anyone who is interested in learning more about fox preserves will find that they are safe havens for both hounds and foxes. A little research will bring out the facts, which are a direct contradiction to the empty lies being told by HSUS. The facts were brought to light in front of the Virginia General Assembly, which left HSUS to exit with their tail between their legs (no pun intended).Flag

Name: Robin Hogge on Oct 15, 2012Comments: We (foxhunters) are the fox best friend. Deer hunters, rabbit hunters ,night hunters, all hunters shoot them on sight but not houndman. We love to hear the chase and its the last thing we want to do is to kill them. You can't chase a dead fox.Flag

Name: Wayne Proffit on Oct 15, 2012Comments: With the vast amount of urban sprawl that has taken place in our Counties, fox pens are the only way we have to still the thrill of the chase and to insure the safety of our hounds. HSUS and Peta has spent thousands of dollars in false propagando and attempt to hide the true facts of hunting in a pen.Flag
