On Monday, June 2nd, Michelle Gau was informed by the Diocese of Peoria that she was dismissed as the assistant principal at Alleman High School. The Diocese provided no reason for the dismissal and refuses to answer any questions. Ms. Gau has devoted the last 32 years of her life trying to provide the best possible Catholic education for students in the Quad Cities. Her tireless work ethic and 24/7 devotion to Alleman should be respected and not dismissed by the Diocese. She has left a lasting impression on thousands of Catholic men and women. The world is a better place due to the contributions of Ms. Gau. Without her, Alleman will be less effective at fulfilling its mission of exemplifying gospel values through Catholic education. Ms. Gau devoted her life to us, and now it is time for us to help Ms. Gau by letting the Diocese of Peoria know how much she means to the Alleman community. If you agree that Ms. Gau should remain assistant principal at Alleman High School, please sign the petition and share this information with your friends and family. Additionally, in our effort to support Ms. Gau and keep our beloved assistant principal at Alleman, use the following contact information to reach out to the Diocese of Peoria and express your support. Speak up NOW to keep Ms. Gau!!
