Comments: It's quite sudden decision with unclear reason. I felt something wrong that's why Mr. Ramsey and Mr. Hunt will leave school at the same time. They both are hard working and did really good job for our school in past 8-9 years and I'm sure that all the parents who put their kids in DBIS would be happy on their leaving.

Comments: The stay of Mr. Ramay at this time is crucial in restoring the school morale at this moment, right after many students leaving for two newly opened schools. A large part of our trust in DBIS is due to Grant and Ian's unceasing effort to upgrade the quality of eduation, to maintain a closely knit school community, and their characters being nobel role models for kids. We simply cannot afford to loss both respectable and beloved leaders at the same time, particularly when the secondary school is still budding.

Comments: If Mr Ramsey and Mr Hunt goes all the teachers will be dishearted and D.B.I.S. will breakdown: if so the students will leave.

Comments: The news of the departure of the two senior staff at the same time is totally unacceptable. The school morale is already low with the recent large number of student departure in the secondary school. The news of the deaprture of Grant and Ian is hard hitting the confidence of the parents to stay at DBIS. It is a must that they stay to restore the confidence..

Comments: DBIS will suffer a huge loss without the direction and leadership of Grant and Ian. They both go far beyond what is expected of their positions and are an important factor in why I choose to keep my daughter at DBIS. It amazes me to see Grant up at all hours to attend competitions, school events and sending off the students on field trips. Under his leadership DBIS has grown and improved but never lost the caring nature that makes DBIS and the faculty stand out from all the other schools in Hong Kong. The letter that was sent out to the parents about the change in leadership was abrupt and shocking. More explanation is needed as to why this matter was handled the way it was (since this is absolutely not typical of the communication style of DBIS). it alarmed many parents who now wonder how the culture of DBIS will change if both of these crucial leaders leave. Both Grant and Ian have helped shaped DBIS into the school it is today.
