This petition is being made in an attempt to reverse the ADMINISTRATIVE decision of switching the positions of Mr. Mullen, our elementary band director, and Mr. Kastner, our high school director. Although Mr. Mullen is very talented and more than qualified to fill this position, Mr. Kastner has 14 years of experience as the high school director not only of concert band but marching band as well and therefore is better suited for the needs of the students. He has helped the children in our program grow exponentially as musicians and as people. Mr. Kastner has forged bonds between students that can never be broken and memories that will last even after high school ends. We would all be extremely discouraged to see him have to leave his position for another. Mr. Kastner donates countless hours just to help the program grow. So, please help us in our cause to keep our band director. Sign and spread the word. Thank you for your time and consideration.
